To document the history of 4-H Extension at the national level from its earliest days up through the present, including the roles, purposes, and services offered, the leadership and staff.

Eleanor Wilson has been in contact with Alma Hobbs and Lisa Lauxman to gain their assistance in writing major accomplishments of 4-H Extension, USDA during the administrations. She will soon be contacting Don Stormer, Leah Cox Ritchie and Cathann Criss to do the same.

Eleanor L. Wilson, chair of this program team, had a discussion with Milt Boyce, who served as acting administrator, 4-H Extension, USDA during two period of the history and, together, they have identified all the national leaders of 4-H, USDA.The next step is to contant as many as possible and request that they write about the highlights and areas of emphasis during their tenure.

Research is just getting started on this section including an attempt to get past 4-H administrators to assist in writing up the history and major thrusts of their respective administrations.
